Big on performance
Our tunneling jumbos are built on deep understanding of tunneling demands. They are designed to drill out the face quickly, accurately and efficiently. They are electro-hydraulically powered and built on tough, diesel-driven carriers. Standard equipment includes 1-3 booms, long feeds, extremely fast hydraulic rock drills and advanced drilling control systems. Face coverage areas range from 12 –232 m². All booms and feeds have automatic parallel holding with quick look-out auxiliaries for accurate hole placement, optimal profiling and minimal overbreak.
DTi Tunneling jumbo series. Intelligent control.
The computer-controlled DTi series tunneling jumbos are designed to be fast, accurate and user-friendly, delivering high-quality excavation results at low costs. The series is available in five models for excavation of cross sections 12–232 m²,including face drilling, bolt hole drilling, and mechanized long-hole drilling. All are equipped with advanced control systems, powerful high frequency RD525 rock drills, robust booms and advanced drill string guides. They are designed for automatic use but allow the operator to fine-tune the process if required. FOPS-certified, spacious 3i cabins give outstanding usability and working conditions.
DT Tunneling jumbo series. Proven to deliver.
Our DT series tunneling jumbos are robust, stable and extremely powerful. They are available in several models, with various levels of instrumentation and a wide range of options to choose from. The series covers excavation of cross sections 12–203 m², including face drilling, bolt-hole drilling and mechanized long-hole drilling. The DT jumbos feature strong, high-precision universal booms and powerful high frequency RD5 series rock drills that deliver superior performance and high consumable life. They come with either hydraulic or electric control system and a FOPS-certified cabin or safety canopy.
